Description
Within just one year, Iqony Sens has constructed a 25 MWp solar park in southern Germany as an EPC service provider for the company Vento Ludens. The nature of the ground proved to be a particular challenge. Due to the rocky subsoil, boreholes had to be drilled to anchor the piles of the module tables in the ground. Iqony Sens also took on the planning and turnkey construction of the connection to the local grid and laid a cable route of around nine kilometres through the stony ground. The community of Steinheim am Albuch is now supplied with 28,000 MWh of good energy every year, saving around 13,000 tonnes of CO2.
