SENS Ibérica and its partner Menapy celebrated the inauguration of Spain's largest self-consumption solar system in Burgos, northern Spain (as of the end of 2023). A total of 18,300 bifacial solar modules were installed on the eight-hectare Bekaert site, which generate around 16,000 MWh of renewable electricity annuallyper year. With a total output of 12 MWp, the solar park will save around 3,600 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. Thanks to the visionary efforts of Bekaert, the collaboration with industry leaders such as Menapy and the construction expertise of SENS, the project is an important milestone on the road to a more sustainable future.
