Description
SENS has inaugurated a high-performance solar project in Zafra, Spain, with a total capacity of over 8 MWp. The project comprises two individual parks, "Zafra 3" (3.3 MWp) and "Zafra 5" (5 MWp), with a total of almost 19,000 modules. The evacuation system efficiently feeds the generated electricity into the grid. The solar park supplies about 17,500 MWh of renewable energy per year and saves about 6,300 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Despite archaeological finds that temporarily halted construction, building work was resumed as quickly as possible and the final grid connection was completed.
