Description
La Cabrita is the first of totally four solar parks of the Tinosa-Pipeline in Spain. With an annual total capacity of 50 MWp the PV plant produces 87 GWh energy, thanks to the intensity of radiation in the Tabernas desert (Almería). In August 2021, the solar park was finalised by SENS Ibérica and since then, it feeds green energy to the La Serrata substation, which Iqony Sens has also built. Therefore, the CO2 emissions can be reduced by 25,000 tonnes per year. This was followed in 2022 by the completion of the EGA solar park, with a total output of 30 MWp.
