Description
The La Serrata substation has been finished by SENS Ibérica in the Tabernas desert (Spain) in July 2021 and is available with a capacity of 280 MVA. In the future, the substation will collect the generated energy from the four plants La Cabrita, EGA, Tabernas I and II of the Tinosa project with a total capacity of 180 MWp. The construction work for La Cabrita, EGA and Tabernas II are already finished. The generated energy will be bundled at 220 KV and fed into the grid of the national transmission grid operator Red Eléctrica in Spain.
