SENS, Iqony Solar Energy Solutions GmbH, develops, builds and manages solar projects on open spaces and roofs throughout Europe. The company also acts as an Independent Power Producer (IPP). In addition to the turnkey construction of solar parks, SENS offers storage and service solutions for PV systems as well as holistic energy concepts for industry, trade and commerce in the field of energy efficiency. The subsidiary OPTENDA GmbH rounds off the comprehensive range of services offered by SENS with software-based energy and CO2 management.
As a service provider in the growth sector of renewable energy, SENS is actively and passionately committed to the expansion of sustainable projects in order to shape a future with 100% Good Energy. The company stands for Good Energy - both in its actions and in the way in which they are implemented.

How is the corporate structure of SENS, Iqony, STEAG and Asterion organised?
Since the beginning of 2023, STEAG has been divided into two parts: Steag Power (coal business) and Iqony (green/renewable business). As part of the green business segment, SENS focuses on the planning, construction and operation of solar energy solutions. Steag and its two subgroups Steag Power and Iqony have been part of Asterion Industrial Partners since 1 January 2024.
How many locations does SENS have?
