Good Energy in Australia
I have been working at Iqony Solar Energy Solutions since the end of 2018 and was an absolute newcomer to the photovoltaic industry. Thanks to the willingness of my colleagues to explain everything to me down to the smallest detail, I was quickly able to gather the necessary knowledge and take on responsibility for individual areas of responsibility.
My absolute highlight so far was my one-month stay in Australia. Here I was able to support our colleagues on site, gain great insights and valuable experience.
University and work:
From marketing to purchasing
I came to the purchasing department at SENS via various stations. I studied applied communication sciences with a focus on sports, event and media management. After my studies at the end of 2012, I started a traineeship at a PR and marketing agency. The company also has a sales department where I completed my traineeship. Afterwards, I was responsible for purchasing and marketing there. In this way, I got to know and love the field of purchasing and also wanted to work in purchasing in the future.

That's what makes working here so special and varied. As an employee at SENS, I profit from numerous benefits: The topic of health is emphasised and so we can participate in massages or get a job bike, for example. In addition, we can benefit from a great lunch offer from our cook, who prepares fresh food for us every day and provides us with fruit. The flexible working hours also allow us to balance our professional and private lives. In addition, since 2023 there is also the Social Day, which we can use for voluntary work. So I can use the extra day off to be active in the parents' council at my child's kindergarten.
