GILDEMEISTER energy solutions realises solar park in Moldova
Moldova´s biggest solar park is connected to the grid now. An outstanding project - not only for GILDEMEISTER energy solutions but also for Moldova. Covering an area of 2.5 hectare the 1 MWp solar park is strengthening Moldova´s energy security. According to the Ministry of Moldova in the whole country there are currently 52 PV-power plants of different sizes with a total capacity of 2.93 MW, which means this new solar park in Bacioi village makes a significant contribution to the increasing green energy supply. The project was commissioned by the Italian companies Fly Ren Energy Group and Consulcesi Tech and built by GILDEMEISTER energy solutions.
Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Econony and Infrastructure is very enthusiastic about the project: “This solar park is an important milestone for Moldova´s energy sector. It reduces our dependency on imported energy. Furthermore, the production of green energy is a clear commitment to the environment.”
Beyond pure electricity generation this project is of great significance for the research sector: An arrangement with the Academy of Science of Moldova has been reached. Using this solar field, the scientists plan to investigate the development of alternative energy sources as well as efficiency potentials within the conversion of solar energy into electricity. GILDEMEISTER energy solutions is very pleased about the successful commissioning.
