A solarpark was built on an area of around 7.5 hectares on a hillside overlooking the vineyards in Schleich. 19,750 PV modules were installed and have an output of 7.9 MWp. Iqony Sens was not only responsible for the development and construction of the ground-mounted photovoltaic plant, but also provided the associated connection to the regional 20 kV grid. In future, the pv solution will reduce CO₂ emmissions by around 4,675 tonnes every year and it will be possible to supply 2,600 households with green electricity from the solarpark in Schleich.
