Next pv plant installed in Saxony-Anhalt

Second construction phase in Saxony-Anhalt connected to grid

After the successful commissioning of the photovoltaic project in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, there is good news from Saxony-Anhalt. In Oranienbaum, STEAG Solar Energy Solutions (SENS) (formerly known under GILDEMEISTER energy solutions) built another pv open-space installation. The grid connection for the second 750 kWp construction phase took place recently.

The Würzburg solar experts are responsible for the planning and implementation of the open-space solar park, which is built on an area of about two hectares. The total output is 2.2 MWp and comprises three construction sections with 750 kWp each. The first section was already realised in November 2017 under GILDEMEISTER energy solutions, the second one came next. The installation of the third and last section is also planned for this year and will be implemented by the Würzburg assembly team.

Like the solar park in Gadebusch , the pv open-space installation was commissioned by Vario green energy Concept GmbH. Construction and assembly of the solar modules were carried out by Sunotec GmbH, a subsidiary of the Sunotec Group based in Berlin. Consilium Erneuerbare Energien eG is an investor and at the same time plant operator of the utility scale project.

The service team of SENS will be responsible for the pv park Oranienbaum after the completion of all three construction phases and will take over the operational management.
