Solar Module

Solar Module:

A solar module consists of several solar cells connected one behind the other, which are linked to form modules with conductor tracks on the front and rear sides and mounted between glass panes or plastic foils. These modules are held together by frames with which they are later attached to the substructure. When connected in series, the voltage of the individual cells adds up, and thinner wires can be used than with a parallel connection. The use of bypass diodes is intended to ensure that any failure or shading of individual cells can be handled without problems despite the series connection.
