Grid-Parallel Operation

Grid-Parallel Operation:

Grid-parallel operation refers to the operation of energy sources connected in parallel to the power grid, i.e. decentralised sources such as wind turbines or solar power plants. In grid-parallel operation, the systems feed the purchased electricity into the general power grid; before this, an Inverter converts the direct current from the PV installation into Alternating Current with the correct voltage and frequency.
