My success story
After completing my studies to be an industrial clerk with the focus on accountancy and obtaining experience in several departments at my former employer, I started part-time further training in September 2012 to become a Certified Accountant. During my period of study, I completed my course thesis while still working for my previous employer and was responsible for smaller companies. I successfully qualified in January 2015. After gaining a few years of experience with another company, I joined Iqony Sustainable Energy Solutions as an Accountant in July 2020.
My everyday tasks include checking and preparing outgoing invoices and the management of open items. I participate in two working groups: BPM (Business Process Management) and Taskforce ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
The work in the accounts department is highly complex and diverse in scope, and I enjoy dealing with numbers. However, I particularly value the insights into the company gained by working in the accounts department.

Team work at Iqony Sens
Settling into the work at Iqony Sens in 2020 during the pandemic presented new challenges, not only to me but also my colleagues. However, it did not take long before I was part of the team. We’re all working together to complete our tasks. Of course, it can be stressful from time to time, for example when the monthly cut-off date for accountancy transactions is approaching, but we never lose our motivation or sense of humour. This always reminds me that Iqony Sens considers teamwork to be highly important.
My time at Iqony Sens so far has been very rich in experience and I enjoy it very much. I look forward to many more good years.
