Field Service Technician (m/f/x) for PV Systems
Hi. We are SENS. We develop, build and manage ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar projects. Worldwide. Our headquarters are in Würzburg, Bavaria. We stand for Good Energy: with what we do - and how we do it. For our mission to create the future with 100% Good Energy, we are looking for people who want to join us in driving forward the energy transition - so maybe exactly you?
What awaits you – 100% Good Energy
Are you tired of tapping slots, milling holes in equipment boxes, dirty plastering or emptying rubble buckets? Then come and join our team! We do not work with slot cutters, can cutters or spatulas. As technical:r operations:in, our O&M team looks after photovoltaic systems that are already in operation and thus already making a valuable contribution to CO2 savings.
To support our team of technicians, we are looking for electricians who can ensure the faultless operation and maintenance of our customers' PV systems.
What exactly does this mean for you? You will carry out on-site maintenance, repairs, optimisations, measurements and troubleshooting with us. From day 1 of your training, you will accompany our specialists on the systems and learn the PV trade. And thus not through dusty dry runs on paper, but in a practical and direct way.
What awaits you after the training:
- As a service technician, you will be responsible for processing service orders in the area of our PV projects on open spaces (solar parks) and rooftop systems.
- You work closely with our in-house monitoring department and carry out on-site fault analyses, which are necessary if our remote monitoring cannot directly identify the corresponding faults.
- Your work focuses on carrying out maintenance and repair work on almost all common components of a photovoltaic system (inverters, PV modules, string cabling, DC generator connection boxes, remote control/protection technology, monitoring equipment, AC distributions).
- You are a competent contact person for our customers on site.
- You carry out your work with modern measuring equipment, with which the proper condition or faults are determined in a targeted manner.
- You document the work you have carried out and, if necessary, provide solutions for faults that cannot be rectified directly at the parks and are therefore an important part of our decision-making process.
- Together with us, you expand our cross-manufacturer expert knowledge, which we have gathered since 2007 with a wide variety of components and combinations.
You bring with you – 100% You
- Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, power engineering or a comparable training.
- Professional experience in the learned field, as well as experience in the installation and maintenance of electronic systems
- Ideally, further training as an electrician
- Strong sense of service as well as independent and reliable way of working
- Driving licence class B and willingness to travel in Germany (if necessary also internationally)
- Very good German language skills are essential (at least C1)
